Treasure of the Cretan land

The mountain tea or also known in Cretan dialect as Malotira is the Cretan tea which is endemic in Crete and only grows in the mountains. It is considered a panacea for any illness since
clinical studies have shown that it is highly beneficial for the body. Its leaves are fluffy and
strong and its flowers are yellowish and fragrant with an exquisite aroma and taste.
It is no wonder that Crete’s mountain tea is the daily traditional morning beverage of the
locals that is renowned for promoting a long and healthy life.
